Laser hair reduction
Soprano Titanium ICE
The multi-wavelength diode laser platform used at Skinfinity for progressive hair reduction on the face and body. It is used at Skinfinity’s clinic in Bahria Town, Lahore within a plan agreed at consultation.
What is Soprano Titanium ICE?
Soprano Titanium ICE is the laser platform Skinfinity uses for hair reduction. It combines more than one laser wavelength in a single applicator and pairs that with continuous contact cooling of the skin surface.
It is used across face and body areas, with settings selected during your consultation for your skin type, hair type and the area being treated.
How it works
Laser light is absorbed by pigment in the hair follicle and converted to heat. Because Soprano Titanium ICE builds that heat gradually across repeated passes rather than delivering single high-intensity pulses, the surface of the skin stays cooled throughout the pass.
Only follicles in an active growth phase respond to a given session, which is why hair reduction is always planned as a course of sessions spaced several weeks apart.
Safety and suitability
Suitability is confirmed at consultation, and a patch test is carried out before your first full session.
Grey and very light hair does not contain enough pigment to absorb laser light — electrolysis is used for those hairs instead.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the treatment comfortable?
- The applicator cools the skin while the laser passes over it, which most clients find helps considerably. Sensation still varies from person to person, and settings can be adjusted during the session.
- How many sessions are planned?
- Hair grows in cycles, so a course is normally recommended. The number depends on the area, hair type and your response, and is set out in writing at consultation.
- Can it be used on darker skin tones?
- Settings are selected for your skin type after assessment and a patch test. Whether treatment is appropriate for you is confirmed at consultation rather than assumed.
